Healthy LifeStars®, a nonprofit organization whose vision is to launch a generation of healthy kids through programs that teach and instill lifelong healthy habits, today announced the appointment of Kimberly Gibson as RegionalDirector. Ms. Gibson, who will report to Healthy LifeStars’ Executive Director,Aaron Nicholson, joins the nonprofit from her current role as Director ofOperations & Events for Caring for Cambodia, a nonprofit whose U.S.operations are headquartered in Austin, TX.

In her new role, Ms. Gibson will lead the coordination and implementation of the Healthy LifeStars programs in Arizona, Colorado and as needed in other national sites, working with Program Managers from other states. This includes recruiting new program sites and partners, ensuring program implementation integrity and providing ongoing support to program sites.  Ms. Gibson will also be responsible for assisting in fundraising including national leadership of fundraising events.

Ms. Gibson holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Iowa and aGraduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Management from ArizonaState University. She assumes her new position on March 25,2024.
