Take the StepUp4Kids™ Challenge This September

September is National Childhood Obesity Month, making it the perfect time to take steps toward healthier futures for kids.

From September 14–20, Healthy LifeStars invites individuals, families, schools, businesses, and community teams to participate in the annual StepUp4Kids Challenge. This weeklong event brings communities together to raise funds and awareness in support of The LifeStar Challenge™, helping kids build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Every step you take and every dollar you raise helps expand access to health education, physical activity, and confidence building programs for more kids. This year's goal is to raise $30,000, allowing Healthy LifeStars to bring The LifeStar Challenge to an additional 600 kids. Whether you walk on your own, form a team with friends or coworkers, or encourage your school or business to participate, every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

Participants can track their steps, fundraise, and help spread the message that every kid deserves the opportunity to live an active, healthy life. Schools can also participate for a chance to win a $500 school prize. Schools interested in joining the challenge should contact their Healthy LifeStars Program Manager for registration details and participation information. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for organizations looking to support healthier communities while demonstrating their commitment to kids' wellness.

Businesses and community partners interested in becoming a sponsor are encouraged to contact Healthy LifeStars to learn more.
