Healthy LifeStars is proud to expand its mission in New Orleans, bringing the LifeStar Challenge™ to more than 2,000 kids while building partnerships with schools and community organizations across the city.
During the visit, the Healthy LifeStars team conducted site visits at several schools, observing physical education classes and seeing The LifeStar Challenge in action. Watching students earn LifeStars while building healthy habits firsthand was a powerful reminder of the program's impact and the dedication of local educators.
The team also hosted a New Orleans kickoff event, bringing together teachers, youth program administrators, and community leaders to learn more about Healthy LifeStars, explore partnership opportunities, and strengthen connections throughout the community.
Louisiana continues to face one of the nation's highest rates of childhood obesity, making school-based wellness programs more important than ever. By partnering with local schools and organizations, Healthy LifeStars is helping equip kids with the tools and confidence to lead active, healthy lives.
